I have the best peeps in the world, Gonzo and Steffers! They giggle at all the right and wrong moments, and dammit I wouldn't change it for the world.
I spent the first 25 minutes of the movie disgusted with JGL's character Jon. It wasn't until after he hooked up with smokin' hot Barbara Sugerman that I started to feel bad for him and the fact that no matter how good he had it, he wasn't really fulfilled, even with the porn, because he kept going back to it.
Not gonna spoil it for those who haven't see Don Jon, but it is most definitely a movie to see with friends. We had a good laugh through it and lots of great discussion after it. I love Julianne Moore!
I have the day off! A Saturday! Wow. Weekend driving music commence!
It's like the better part of the 80's all over again.
Okay, so I didn't put on Insidious after watching Possession last night. Instead I substituted one horror movie for another; The Awakening with Rebecca Hall. I'm a sucker for British haunted manors and such, and Rebecca Hall is flawless.
I did get around to watching Parade's End, and as much as I loathed the character of Sylvia, Rebecca Hall played her so well and not so one-dimensional. Didn't really make me hate Sylvia and her machinations less, mind you.
UGH, the ending of Parade's End is soooooooo romantic!!! I'm dizzy with feelings here!
Let's watch Possession on Netflix, they said! It'll be fun, they said! You didn't want to sleep tonight anyway, THEY SAID!
Thanks goodness for Parade's End, disc 1! I had planned originally to indulge in a hot bath before settling down with a glass of chilled chamomile, but I just got Da Flowz this morning AND put on Possession, because I'm too curious for my own good. I have this sinking feeling that I'm going to cave and put on Insidious next.
And from far left field...
What fresh hell is this *uckery?!
Is that suppose to be Channing Tatum in the middle? I recognize the Joseph Gordon-Levitt thing on the left.
