Surprisingly tasty green smoothie!


Who needs a fancy juicer when you have a dependable (and old) blender at your disposable? Not this girl. I'm pretty sure the upstairs neighbors appreciate the vrrrrrrr! at 7 in the morning.

The basics: chopped spinach, 1-2 celery stalks - finely chopped - half an apple, also chopped (use the other half for later), some pineapple chunks, a spoonful of Greek yogurt. Since this is a blender I'm using, I add less than half a cup of water or pineapple juice saved from the can of pineapple chunks.
Throw the whole shebang into the blender and pulse on high until the concoction is blended smooth.
Pour it into your husband's beer glass that he got from Tilted Kilt (stoopid midriff-baring, tiny kilt-wearing underaged waitresses) and enjoy.
